What you may do without asking

What requires a licence
Written permission is required before any of the following:

- using an image for commercial, promotional or advertising purposes;
- using an image in an editorial context, including online publications;
- copying, downloading, republishing or redistributing an image;
- modifying, cropping, retouching or creating derivative works from an image;
- using an image to train, fine-tune or evaluate machine learning or artificial intelligence systems.
Requesting a licence
Licences are granted on a case-by-case basis. Terms and fees depend on how the image will be used, where it will appear, for how long and in which territories.
To request a licence, please get in touch specifying which image or series you are interested in, the intended use, the medium of publication and the duration required. Every enquiry receives a reply.
Credit
Where a licence is granted, images must be credited to Enrico Labriola unless otherwise agreed in writing.
